Gregson Park Hamilton Masterplan

Hamilton NSW

PLANNING PERFECTION

ABOUT THE PROJECT

A conceptual master plan for Gregson Park, Hamilton, centred on the adaptive re-use of the existing bowling club building, to form an integrated children’s centre. The master plan envisaged the children’s centre as a catalyst for the transformation of Gregson Park into a child-focused arts and recreation hub, capitalising on the diverse cultural connections in the Hamilton area.

The concept included an integrated children’s centre; interconnected central boulevard; sensory garden; the incorporation of a community produce garden; expansion of the existing children’s playground; new BBQ shelter and improved toilet facilities; the creation of a multi-function plaza and the creation of a children’s sculpture park for collaboration with local artists.
